Chief Adjudicator: Michael Shapira
In 2011 Michael won the ESL World Universities Debating Champion title. He was also a Semi-Finalist at Euros (2011) as well as finalist and winner of many other competitions. As an adjudicator Michael has judged the final stages of various international tournaments, including EUDC. He was also the DCA of the Utrecht IV, DCA of the Istanbul Open, CA of the Vienna IV, and many more. This would be his 5th time participating in a tournament in Turkey where he was granted the honorary title of "Shapira Pasha".
Deputy Chief Adjudicator: Engin Arıkan
Having reached the Euros ESL final twice in Newcastle and Amsterdam, Engin is one of the best debaters Turkey has ever seen. He also won Koç Open twice, Athens Open and was on the final of various other IVs. Engin is known for his distinct approach to debating and its fusion with ready-to-eat meals. No matter what "they say", "we say" Engin is the best.
Deputy Chief Adjudicator: Maja Cimerman
In 2010 in Amsterdam, Maja won the tittle of the European ESL champion. In 2011, she also became an ESL WUDC finalist in Botswana. As an adjudicator, Maja is remembered as the CA of the VIV11, DCA of The Red Sea Open, CA of the Stuttgart IV and many more. She is very excited about coming back to Turkey - her first time being at WUDC Koc, we're she was at the top of the ESL tab.
Deputy Chief Adjudicator: Manos Moschopoulos
In 2010, at Koc WUDC, Manos won the title of "Best ESL speaker", later that year he became a euros ESL finalist. Since, Manos has won several opens and IVs across Europe and even one in China. As an Adjudicator, Manos has Been part of the A team of over a dozen tournaments in the UK and Europe, and joined the judging pool of many more. This summer you will find him CAing Imperial and Bristol among other places. There is never too many visits to Turkey for Manos as the is his th time in the country.
